Everybody has a unique love story. My love affair started quite young, at the tender age of three. My earliest memory is of my little self, seated at the dining table, my mother feeding me tiny morsels of “thove”, a simple dish made of lentils. It only had a sprinkle of asafetida, salt and lemon juice to lend it flavor. But one whiff of it and I was in love!

Guided and inspired by the amazingly talented women in my life, I realized that it takes more than a love for food to prepare awesome food. It takes a pinch of intuition, a dash of curiosity, a sprinkle of observation, a dollop of patience and hard work and a ton of practice.

Years later, I’m on my way to realize my dream-to bring the food of my people to the masses.

Fantastic food from Udupi/Mysore style food. Unique menu that you will not find in your local South Indian restaurant. All the food I ordered were fresh and tasty!

    This Chef is amazing – a perfectionist – the moment you taste her food – you know it has been made with exceeding love and care and that it has been customized exactly to the way you want it – without even knowing how the Chef got the wind of your taste !!!! Awesome – God Sent for all the people who love food… and yes – be prepared – if the food doesnt meet her high standards – it doesnt go out of her kitchen :-)…………………. I believe Chef Namratha gets more stars – simply because her food tastes like it was cooked by your mom or your wife – not like it was made in a Hotel…………. Kudos … hope you continue to follow your heart when you cook and get the perfectionist in you continue to take control over the pressure of a pending delivery 🙂
